I was so excited to wear a couple of my new finds from The Vintage Fashion Expo. I wish I could have joined Jenny and Nicole on Saturday, but alas, I had to work. On Sunday I had Matt drop me off so I could peruse the racks and stalls as slowly or as quickly as I wanted to. I'm happy to say that I walked away with some pretty great treasures! You'll see them popping up in my next few outfit posts, I'm sure, since I don't want to wear anything else.
I almost left this little darling of a skirt behind, but I'm so glad that I went back for it. The Static Vintage had so many adorable things it was hard to choose just one. So I had to get two! This skirt, and a dress that is sure to come up in an outfit post once this weather gets a bit better. Okay, I hope I'm not the only one who sees the amazing-ness in this skirt. Crazy colored kitties, big and small, chasing balls of yarn. The colors are so fantastic and it's a wrap waist making it super comfortable to wear.
Another sweet new treat is my little straw hat. I got it from a lovely little booth along with a gorgeous 1940s dress. The hat has a sweet little black ribbon bow at the back. The boots were an etsy find from a few years ago. I love how they look a little bit prairie and victorian at the same time.

Oh my goodness!! That cat skirt is ridiculously awesome. I love it!! I also love your straw hat. I really want to get more hats for the Spring/Summer. Now that my hair's shorter, I think I look better in them than used to. ^_^
Ahh, what a great pattern! It looks so cute, especially on the longer-length skirt!
That skirt is amazing! Cat clothing is hardly ever bad though, really. I wish that I lived in the area so that I could go to the expo. I'm so jealous of all you Bay Area gals who get to.
I got to say! that is one amazing outfit!!!! loving it!

This is so cute! From far away, like in the first pic, I thought it was just like a floral print or something. So fun!

I'm wildly jealous of your cat print skirt-- I can't believe you almost left it behind! Sadly I think I'm turning into a bit of an cat lady as I keep picking up vintage cat prints/figurines when I see them.
Love the shape of your straw hat too! Very flattering.
Hi, self-proclaimed crazy cat lady here, and I am in looooove with that skirt! If you ever tire of it and need to find it a new home, I'd be more than happy to take it off your hands!

I love your funky kitty skirt! Cats look so much cooler on skirts, then say on oversized sweatshirts (although they can be cool too...sometimes). I think the whole look is very complimentary:)
