Ragged Wood

Little Bo-Peep has lost her sheep,
And can't tell where to find them;
Leave them alone, And they'll come home,
Wagging their tails behind them.

My wide-brimmed red hat reminds me of Little Bo Peep's bonnet.  If I were a shepherdess, I could imagine myself losing my herd due to slumber. Despite her missteps on the job, her frilly dress and floral accessories are pretty chic, especially considering her strenuous duties in the meadow.

Channeling whimsical inspiration in my wardrobe selection today, I chose a darker palette and modern accessories. The 1970's paisley ascot shirt was a perfect pairing with the pleated skirt. I love the bright color and intricate design. I think Little Bo Beep would be quite happy with this wardrobe update, don't you? Now, only if I had some sheep.

What an amazing photo shoot, I love your blog :) I am dreaming of visiting San Francisco.

Megan Hattie :

The print looks beautiful against the lovely countryside! Where did you shoot this? I love the skirt too! also I've recently sort of decided to move to San Francisco in August and learn some fashion design basics at CCSF before transferring... do either of you have friends in the program or anything? It'd take a pretty bad review to scare me off just because of the great price, but I'm curious. So hit me back on the blog or themartiantide@gmail.com if you have any wisdom <3

Cheers!
