After all the rain, it was nice to say hello to a little bit of sunshine. Though it wasn't warm enough to go without my cardigan and knit hat. I love the colors and pattern in this skirt. It reminds me of all the flower blossoms and lush greenery that are everywhere in the spring time. I paired the skirt with a pretty little thrifted lace top and a belt that my mom gave me. One day maybe I'll post a picture of my mom wearing the belt in the 60s. Adorable!

This darling green briefcase stopped me in my tracks when I was visiting Aubergine Vintage with Jen and Nicole. I just love the handle and charming gold clasp. It was a bit blustery in the alley when Matt and I were taking these photos. Check out the last picture when my skirt blew up in a gust of wind and I flashed everyone driving and walking by. Eep!  Please don't mind my bruised legs. Every time I'm using a ladder at work my shins end up black and blue.

I also want to take a moment to say hello and thank you to everyone who Jen and I have gotten to know here on the blog in the past few months. You are all so sweet and generous in your advice and kind words. I've really enjoyed learning about your lives and sharing mine with you. I'm excited for the new friends I have made and have yet to meet. xoxo

I love the subtle shades of those flowers on the skirt! And I must admit I haven't seen much dark green being worn these days, but I love yours! refreeeeshing! And to answer a question Jen asked me, I have no idea where I'm going to live in SF when I move in August... so if either of you know of rooms opening up for whatever you should let me know! :)

I'm loving all of the vintage treasures you have in this outfit! You're making me want to run out and find somewhere to look for more while I'm in Dayton this week!

The color of your cardigan is so rich, I really like it. I think I need to study how you put together texture and pattern in this outfit, too. You look so lovely.

I think many people had skirt-and-wind issues today, you're not the first to report the problem. We'll have to speak with the weather straight away. (:
