Feathers in her Hair

Jenny and I had a fabulous weekend filled with Philz coffee, thrift store adventures and photo shoots. Everything in this outfit I have had in my closet for a while now. I love the rather abstract tribal print on this dress and thought it went really well with the feathers in my hair. I layered on the necklaces, pulled on some boots and was ready to go.

We found these buildings we thought were abandoned until we got a little closer and suddenly there were horses! I would have loved to go and say hello but didn't want to get kicked out of such a great location. Luckily no one came out and we weren't there for too long anyway.

How long has it been since I've ventured out of my dark hovel of a blog and commented on others?? Too long! Because I missed out on lovely photo shoots such as yours (well, this blog). :) I love the outfit, how it's all dark yet easily recognizable as a summer look.

Yet no pictures of the horses?? Oh no.

It's really lovely how well the print on that dress complements your hair. And you're right, the location is amazing! You're much more adventuresome than I am. There's a fenced in area with cows near this public trail I like to walk. I seriously doubt anyone would mind if I jumped the fence for a few photos, but I always picture this unyielding old farmer coming at me with a rifle! I watch too many movies. ;)

Amelia :

you guys get out of town! every single post, so gorgeous. the outfit & the photos. love love xo. :)
