I've resided in San Francisco for over eight years, in five different apartments and houses. I've lived in Bernal Heights, The Richmond, The Panhandle and currently live in The Mission district. The city itself is filled with arts and culture, and this beautiful street art is in the alley just behind my house. The Mission district is known for it's streets full of urban art murals. I'm lucky enough to be surrounded with free art that is open to the public at any time. We, as a society, are forced to view dozen's if not hundreds of billboards, TV commercials and online advertisements. If I'm going to be forced to see different types images everyday, I would much rather see personal artwork like this.
These photos were taken last week when it still felt a little warmer. Lately it's been cold and drizzly and it won't go over 70 degrees this weekend. But I remember wearing bare legs and short sleeves, and how nice it is. I can't wait until the nice weather is back again. I hope everyone has a great weekend.
