I had a lovely lady date with Isla last week when we met up for coffee and thrift shopping on a gloriously sunny San Francisco day. First things first, we checked out a local vintage store called No Shop, and then into 4 Barrel Coffee for a quick pick me up. Next we started our thrift shopping tour... Unfortunately for us, Thrift Town had been hit by the "crazy price people" and we found some great things but they were all way out of our budgets. There was a cute 1970s maxi dress, but it was $50. So frustrating!
After searching out a few more shops, with not much more luck except for some great sunglasses, we made our way to Rosamunde's for beer and (for me) vegan sausages. Before heading home we made one last stop at our favorite thrift store, where the drinks and our long day of shopping in the sun finally caught up to us. On the way back to my house we stopped in front of an empty building that Isla and I like to imagine as our future vintage store. Every time we walk by we peer in the windows and talk about how we would do it up, fix the ceiling and paint walls, where our office would be and what our displays would look like. One day it really would be lovely to own our own vintage store! What are some of your dreams and goals for the future?
