The Summer Wind

vintage color block dress
I have a confession...I hate windy days! Stuff gets blown in your eyes, your hair is mess, and there's a good chance it's cold. Now that I've got my hands on this pretty little number I just might have to bite my words. I can't wait for the next warm, windy day when I can don this floaty, dreamy dress with no sleeves and bare legs. I also think it will be fun when the weather gets a little bit colder. With tights, boots and a cute cardigan I hope that my new find will have a new life.

These photos are so beautiful! It reminds me of a ballerina dress :) I am ever-so-much-less-graceful on windy days, when I am just struggling to keep my skirt from flashing passersby ;) But this dress is so beautiful on you and I love your amazing gracefulness!

Aww, I love this! It's so flowy! I personally love dresses of that nature...except maybe when they're too flowy. There have been several times where I've pulled a Marilyn Monroe. haha

Wow I thought I was the queen of the twirly dresses but I'm in love with your floaty dress! The colors are gorgeous and the style screams 1970s San Francisco to me, very fitting for your environment. :)

The Headless Mannequin :

This dress is gorgeous!! I live near the sea and so bad hair days and looking like Cousin It from the Addams Family are a daily occurence so I feel your pain :)

Elyse (Give Me Bows) :

Me too, wind is definitely the worst of all the elements, there is nothing good about it. Sun = beach, picnics. Rain = hot chocolate, DVDs. Wind? = bad hair haha. Luckily you still manage to look exceptionally gorgeous, that dress print is just lovely! x

simply megan. :

ahhhh you got some amazing shots in that dress!! love the one of it twirling in the air!! :))

JennaStevie :

Auburn Not Red :

Knotted hair on a windy day isn't fun but without the wind that beautiful dress wouldn't be able to float around as it should. *twirl*

Emily :
