On Saturday Jen, Isla and I embarked on an epic thrifting adventure far from the confines of the city. We crossed the Golden Gate Bridge and drove for hours until we reached what we like to call "The Mother Ship". It was a beautiful drive and an equally beautiful destination, especially if you love thrift stores as much as we do. After searching through racks and bins to find our treasures, we went on another type of hunt- the hunt for a Subway sandwich shop. Nothing has ever tasted better!
At one of our many stops of the day, there was a lovely little moss covered wall. I just had to stop and snap some photos before getting on our way. I'm so lucky to have such darling friends to join me on day trips such as these. This dream catcher necklace is one of my newest pieces from Dear Mina. I had been wanting one since I saw it on her site. I finally got my hands on my very own! I love the way it pops against the dark green velvet of the dress. Velvet is fast becoming a staple fabric in my fall wardrobe. It's cozy, luxurious and I just can't get enough. What are some of your favorite fall fabrics?
