This weekend was relatively quiet, a much needed respite from my usual days filled with work, writing, and projects. The colder weather brings with it a hibernation of sorts. I am much happier staying in and cooking with Matthew than late evenings galavanting around San Francisco. A good book and a cup of tea are much more desirable than 2 AM adventures.
Black and autumnal florals have been a staple in my wardrobe this season. The vibrant colors of this reconstructed skirt is quite fitting for this transitional period, especially paired with rich brown hues. I also ventured into experimentation with lipstick. I must admit I am not one for wearing too much makeup. But I do love a darker shade for the Fall.
