There is something about the brisk weather that reminds me of my collegiate days at UC Berkeley. While the school is located within an urban area, one of the things I appreciate most about the campus is its historic setting. The picteresque architecture emanates collegiate life. Ornate detail adorns classroom buildings, and the main library features an impressive rotunda. Even today, I could spend hours wandering through campus, admiring each unique detail.
Feeling particularly scholarly, I styled this lovely dress from Tulle with a vintage tweed blazer and carpet bag. I have quite a little collection of black dresses in my closet due to their versatility. This dress will quickly become a favorite of mine for the colder months, especially because of its longer sleeves. And there is something about the combination of a vintage basset hound brooch and tweed. Isn't he lovely?
