I found this dress last weekend at Held Over in the Haight/Ashbury District of San Francisco. Held Over is my go-to store for vintage dresses in my neighborhood, and I always leave with an interesting piece to add to my wardrobe. When I first spotted this dress, I was a little bit weary about the bright floral pattern. But I quickly fell in love with the psychedelic dolly appeal of the frock, especially paired with the right accessories. Although I have a penchant for particular colors and prints, I think it is important to experiment with items outside of my usual fashion choices. Besides, I feel like I belong in a campy 1960s teen movie, and there is nothing better than that.

I think this totally fits your style, you have a thing for moody but bright colors and prints, like retro with a bit of an exotic, funky edge to it! You look lovely :)
This dress is gorgeous and would look awesome in a 1960's movie for sure! Awe, the 1960's are my favorite nostalgic era (because I love Bardot and Gainsbourg, he he).
And this location is gorgeous, totally belongs in a movie too!
the colorful dress + clutch are really quite exciting and fun for winter time! and i really can't believe the weather we are having right now. it's not too cold! i feel like this time last year it was a lot colder. xx
Ok, wow! I am in some seriously envy of that gorgeous dress:) The bright cheery colors are right up my alley! I really am loving how you paired it up with the green bag and black tights...you really have quite a knack for putting the prettiest outfits together!
I've been obsessed with crazy 60s patterns like this lately- what an awesome dress. I love your purse too! I always want to steal all of your clothes. hehe

I am loving the bright florals for the winter. And everything is so nicely balanced out with the black tights and shoes. A 1960s dream!
I am so glad you bought this last weekend. You look like the perfect doll! Love you.
I like it, I think bright florals against black look really modern even though they retain a 60s look. Very pretty dress.
