I always like to dress a bit more casual for the weekend. For me, this means cozy sweaters and the occasional plaid shirt. This outfit is a weekend favorite of mine, and I wore it while exploring a tiny town just outside of Sebastapol. The town borders the Redwood forest, making it particularly ideal for short day trip. I brought my 1970s avocado green travel tote to shlep around all of my weekend essentials. I always need extra layers in case it gets a bit too cold in the evening. However, I often overpack for such short trips, and my bag is almost too heavy to carry!
I like to dress more casual at the weekends too. I'm pretty sure I have ooo'd & ahhh'd over this skirt already (or one similar), but I'm going to it again - LOVE IT!
Also, all these shots look like you belong in a Wes Anderson film...maybe the Darjeeling Limited...There's just something about the setting and that gorgeously green travel bag...I don't know, maybe I'm just being silly.
I love chunky sweaters like the one you're wearing! They're even better when they have pockets to keep your fingers nice and toasty. Love your bright yellow skirt too!
I love the color combo here! That skirt is such a great color. Your fox pin is so amazing too. I've been all about vintage pins for sprucing up outfits lately. Sounds like a really awesome trip. Beautiful shots.
firs tof all: i love that perfect fringe! then the colours of your outfit are so beautiful together, especially this mustard skirt. oh and that brooch is fabulous too! love and kiss, mary
that sweater is in such good condition for vintage, i adore how cosy it looks and how your big fox brooch glams it up..this is one of my favourite looks i've seen in a while! xox

Haha I don't know why but weekend means plaid shirt to me too :) comfortable, casual and yes, also stylish! Your outift is amazing, I should learn from you! Life is a romantic poem
Even your casual ensembles are stunning, I'm definitely a huge fan of plaid shirts too. I like the mixing of gold and navy in this outfit and I often bring a similar '70s travel bag on trips. Also your fox pin is always the perfect accent to your outfits.
