Coit Tower

Dress- 1970s Vintage:: Coat- 1960s Vintage:: Purse- Thrifted:: Shoes- Thrifted
Built in 1933, Coit Tower was constructed at the request of Lillie Hitchcock Coit to beautify the city of San Francisco. On weekends, Matthew and I often like to visit landmarks around the Bay Area, with Coit Tower and Telegraph Hill being a favorite destination due to the views of the city. My grandparents purchased a stone decanter of  Coit Tower shortly after moving to San Francisco, and it sat on their coffee table for many years. Memories such as these are often personal sources of inspiration for fashion and creative projects, especially when purchasing vintage pieces and household items to add to my growing collection. It appears that my brother and I are both inspired by this historic landmark; he recently captured Coit Tower with the lovely second photograph pictured above.
