Secret Garden

Dress- 1960s Vintage:: Shirt- Thrifted:: Purse- Vintage:: Shoes- Gift:: Necktie- Handmade
Nestled between two Victorian houses sits a garden with floral terraces, a small green bench, and an abundance of Angel Trumpet flowering plants. On lazy Sundays, I often come here with a cup of coffee and a good book in my bag. On my current reading list is Kundera's The Unbearable Lightness of Being- a very enjoyable read albeit a bit dismal. It's safe to say that Spring has arrived in Northern California. 1960s paisley dresses and prints are making a return to my wardrobe, along with braided hair, collared shirts, and tiny bow neckties.

Lydia :

I love "The Unbearable Lightness of Being." The concept discussed in the beginning, about how heavy it would be if every moment of our lives just kept happening over and over, has always stuck with me more than a decade after reading the book. I love your hair like this!! It almost looks like you cut it...

Lucy Nation :

I love this outfit. I have a thig for pinafore style dresses. And yet another beautiful location x

Ahh that was a good book, I read it last Summer for the first time.

These photos are so vibrant. I love all the color! It makes me want Spring even more. It's still so brown and gray in New Hampshire.

I looooove your dress too. I've been obsessed with 60s shapes lately, and it's gold too which makes it even better!
