This week is filled with cloudy skies and rainstorms. I have been particularly inspired by Matte Stephen's mid 20th century graphic design, with whimsical subjects holding umbrellas and fantastical cityscapes. The green, brown, and orange muddled color palette is one of my favorite combinations.

These are amazing! They kind of remind me of the movie Triplets of Belleville! I HIGHLY recommend the movie! It is a fantastic (almost) silent animated film. I think it won an academy award? Not sure, but it's so perfect. Especially perfect for this rainy weather CA is getting :)
