Over the weekend, dreamy frocks ranging from pre-Edwardian to the 1980s filled the Concourse Center for the Vintage Expo. We spent the morning wandering from vendor to vendor, pawing through treasures and indulging in a few special purchases. We snapped a few photographs of some fashionably dressed vintage-loving ladies, most clad in green in honor of St. Patrick's Day. Two of our favorite vendors- Papillon Antiques from Jerome, Arizona and Aubergine from Sebastopol, California- we at the Expo. We both bought some lovely items from the stores, including a 1960s plaid swing jacket and a 1960s lace eyelet blouse.
Just to die for. I'm seriously looking at these pics over and over and thinking of how dreamy it would be to attend :) Love the green dress in the top photo, what beautiful vintage styling.
so many beautiful things & stylish ladies! Oh hmm Jerome, I always want to make a trip down there so now I'll keep this antique shop in mind- thanks! http://dusanabotswana.com
I'm curious... how were the prices on average? Were they marked up quite a bit like at vintage boutiques or were there some good thrift store priced finds hiding in there as well? I'm considering driving up for the Santa Monica one, but after gas driving from San Diego, admission for myself the hubby and 2 kids...if I can't afford to buy something when there it might be disappointing :( Just want to make sure it's worth it
