1950s Dress- Thrifted :: Bag- Thrifted :: Shoes- Miz Mooz :: Belt- Nordstrom
The Spring is such a lovely time for exploring the many different parks that San Francisco has to offer. One of the lesser known ones, but one of my favorites, is McLaren Park in the Excelsior district. The sun was shining and it was wonderful to wander the different trails and pathways that cover the 317 acre area. The park is the second biggest park after Golden Gate and it's easy to forget that you are in the middle of a big city. We saw many people out walking their dogs and enjoying the beautiful April weather.

This 1950s shirtwaist dress seemed like the perfect thing for such a sunny afternoon. Thanks to Jen for thrifting me this dress that truly fits like a dream. I was also excited to wear my new Miz Mooz wedge sandals. They are surprisingly comfortable, especially for me who already has a hard time walking in anything but a flat. I hope everyone else had an equally as lovely weekend.

Beautiful dress, perfect for Spring. I love the way you've kept it really simple by accessorising with black. It's easy to forget the green space amid the big cities. I'm definitely guilty of this. Should visit the local parks more x

Marisa Noelle :

I really adore dresses like this that all you really need to wear with them is a pair of sandals and bare legs. Simple, crisp, and beautiful! The minty color and stripes are perfect for spring and I don't think you could have picked a better location. What a charming a little park. I'm so ready for the weather in PA to be as warm and sunny as this. xx

I love seeing your San Fran cozy spot pictures my dear! If there was ever a city I could live in forever, I swear it would be San Fran, but I might just be biased since I got engaged there last fall. ;-)

This green striped dress is so pretty and subtle with its pattern and coloring. So lovely!

The Midwest Muse :

I love the new design on the blog (it's been too long since I visited) and your hair is so perfect. How does one achieve such perfection?! And this dress is the perfect shade on you.

I love the mint color on that top! It's definitely on trend with today's fashion styles. I really like that pleated skirt, I always think of getting one for myself, however I'm always unsure about how the pleating makes me look. I don't have hips but I do have a butt and that makes me think twice.

Monique :

I love the way your hair contrasts the green dress. It's getting to look a lot like spring on your end. I had a pair of Miz Mooz shoes ages ago. They were orange and I loved them so much. I pretty much wore them into the ground. I like the ankle strap on your pair. Happy weekend lady.
